Instagram Launches New Features For Better User Control Over Suggested Posts
The new features are being tested by Instagram so that the user will have more control over what they see in their feed. The first feature will remove certain suggested posts from your feed according to your desire by using some keywords, phrases, and emojis in the caption and hashtags of a post. In a blog post, Meta said, “It’s important to us that people feel good about the time they spend on Instagram, so we’ll continue to work on ways to give people more control over what they see.” The change on the platform is followed after Instagram received intense backlash from its users who said that their app is overcrowded with suggested posts and they barely see the posts from the people they follow on the platform. Instagram also has a temporary snooze button for the suggested posts for up to 30 days.
